Most people running golf leagues and golf tournaments would love to avoid the painstaking difficulty of creating golf pairings that mix the players well with minimal repeats from round to round. If you find yourself in that position, use our simple golf pairings generator to quickly make your league schedule, tournament schedule and golf trip pairings. Generate a schedule for 2-somes, 3-somes, 4-somes and more.

Create your golf pairings with 3 simple selections...

1. select the size of your golf groups (2-somes, 3-somes, 4-somes, etc.)
2. designate the number of golfers in your group
3. select the number of rounds or events
4. click/tap on the "Build schedule" button

Creating round robin pairings

Generate a single round robin, double round robin or more. In a single round robin, each player or team plays all other players or teams once. In a double round robin, each player or team plays all other players or teams twice. When you have 10 players or teams, it will require 9 events to complete a single round robin. When you have 20 team or players, you will need 19 events to complete a single round robin.

Create your round robin pairings with 3 simple selections...

1. select 2-somes to generate round robin pairings
2. pick the number of teams (or golfers if you play as individuals
3. subtract 1 from your number of teams/golfers
4. click/tap on the "Build schedule" button

Note: In Step 3 for number of events or rounds, double for double round robin, triple for triple round robin, etc.

Three tabs

The golf pairings generator has three tabs: Pairings, Pairings optimization and Time slot optimization.

• The Pairings tab shows which players are grouped together into twosomes, threesomes, foursomes, etc.
• The Pairings optimization tab shows how many times each individual played with another individual (see first image at top right)
• The Time slot optimizaton tab shows how many times each golfer is in the same same starting time (regular start) or at the same start hole (shotgun).

Note: The golf pairings generator will calculate up to 9999 iterations before stopping.
