Sign Up Players into Active Tournament

Sign up member golfers


These steps enable you to sign up players already members of your roster(s). See below for how to sign up guests to a tournament.


  1. Hover over or tap the logo in the upper left of your screen. Click on the Tournaments link in the Organization section.



  2. Click on the Load Tournament link for the tournament to which you want to sign up players.



  3. Hover over or tap the logo in the upper left of your screen. Click on the Signup link under Tournament section.



  4. Click on the Sign up link (see purple Item E below) to the right of each player to sign up players individually (see purple Item E below).



  5. Click the check box in the left hand column for each player that you want to sign up and then click the arrow (see blue Item D above) to sign them all up. The number of players marked for sign-up is shown next to the arrow (see blue Item C above). To sign up all players in the roster, click on the top check box (see green Item A above). To deselect all players currently marked, click on the top check box (see green Item A above).



Sign up guest golfers


Follow these steps to sign up guest golfers to your tournament.


  1. Hover over or tap the logo in the upper left of your screen. Click on Signup link.



  2. Click on the roster name to the right of the green plus icon and select a roster which you created in Tournament Manager (not one transferred from Handicap System).
  3. Click on the green plus icon; the Add player button.



  4. Click inside the First name box and type the first name of the golfer, Ted, and press the Tab key to move to the next field.
  5. Type the golfer's last name: Smith.
  6. Select Gender.



  7. Click the Tournament Defaults tab and type in an Index of 16.3



  8. Click on the Save button.



Waitlisting players


An administrator can enable the waitlist feature in each tournament from the Website / App settings. The waitlist comes into play when the number of golfers who sign up exceeds the number designated in the tournament Settings. The image below in Step 1 shows that the tournament was set up for a maximum of 100 players. Any registrations beyond the 100 would go to the waitlist.




  1. To set up the waitlist, go to Website / App settings Signup tab and find the section titled, "Signup limit." Click the box to put a check mark in it. 

  2. Check the waitlist by going to Signup under the Tournament section.

  3. Look for the "Wait List" button between the left and right sides of the Signup page.

  4. For you, the administrator, to add a player to the waitlist, click on the box to the left of a player's name. You will see an arrow above the "Wait list" button with the number of golfers you have placed a check mark in their box. Click on the arrow.

  5. Click on the "Wait list" button.

  6. You will now see the names in the wait list, if any.

  7. To enter one of the waitlist players into the tournament, click on the Signup link in the left column. The player will be entered into the tournament and disappear from the Wait List.

  8. To remove a player from the waitlist, click on the Remove link in the right hand column.



Signup log


Note the "View signup log" link at the top of the Signup screen. That log shows who (player or administrator) signed up or removed a person and when.
