Add/Edit Courses

You have three options: import from "Global" course library (#1 below), manually input course information (#2 below), and import course from an older course library (#3 below). If you do not find your course in the "Global" course library, we recommend you either manually enter your course or import from the "Old" course library and edit the information, if necessary.

Find Course in "Global" course library

  1. Open the Main Menu, click "Courses" under Organization.
  2. Click on the green plus sign to "Add course".
  3. Click on "Find course..." button (#1 in above image).
  4. Select Country from drop down list.
  5. Select State from drop down list
  6. We recommend you type in the most unique part of the golf course name. In the example below, "preston" was enough to find a small number of courses from which to choose. It is not useful to type in words such as "golf," "club," "course," or "country."

  7. When the course is displayed on the list, click on the Select link for that course.
  8. The course is now part of your Handicap System course list.

Manually add course information

If your search in the "Global" course library did not produce results, you can search the older course library (option 3 in top image) or manually enter course information.

  1. Type in the Course name.

  2. Select Number of holes (18 or 9).
  3. Click on Create course button.
  4. Click on NoName tee (see below).

  5. Select Name and Color of tee from drop down menus and type in tee Abbreviation.

  6. Fill in scratch par and Tee difficulty for men and ladies and click Next button.
  7. Fill in all Hole information and click Save button.

Find Course in "Old..." course library

  1. Open the Main Menu, click "Courses" under Organization.
  2. Click on the green plus sign to "Add course".
  3. Click on "Find course..." button for "Old 2019 Handicap System" (#3 in top image).
  4. Use the search box putting in the most unique words/names from the course name (skipping common words such as "the," "club," "golf," "country," "course," etc.). You can also add the city and 2-digit state abbreviation. Typically the least number of courses to look through is with a search without the city and state with a one-word search. For instance, a search for "pinehurst" returns about 15 courses. A search for "pinehurst nc" returns 360+ courses from North Carolina and elsewhere because every course that includes either "pinehurst" or "nc" is returned in the results. The default arrangement of results is most relevant to least...much like Google searches.

  5. You may also want to enter only the 2-digit state abbreviation and then click on the "Address" column header text to sort alphabetically by city. You can then search for your city to see if the course is in the database.
  6. When you find your course, click on the "Select" link to the left of the course name.
  7. Compare the course yardages, pars and handicap hole order to a current course scorecard.

Edit a Course

  1. Open the Main Menu, click "Courses" under Organization.
  2. Click on the course name to edit that course.
  3. You can edit course information, add a tee or edit a tee by clicking on a tee name.
