What can you do with a report?
- Provide reports to players
- sort (alphabetically by name or other order)
- filter (select players to include)
- export in a number of formats: PDF (Acrobat Portable Document Format), XLS (Microsoft Excel 97-2003), CSV (Comma Delimited), RTF (Rich Text Format), TIFF (Tagged Image File Format), HTML (Hypertext Markup Language - web page)
- display on website
Types of reports
A Report is a record of the data as it is at that moment. For this reason, if you display a report on your website, it does not update the data automatically as new information is added. Views, on the other hand are linked to the data and update as information changes. Handicap System offers various report formats with three types of reports:
- Standard (non-editable). Standard reports have "set" layouts. Reports include roster reports, directories, posting sheets, handicap labels, mailing labels, most improved golfer, course reports, and more.
- Standard Custom (provided "columnar" Standard Reports that can be customized by the user)
- Custom (created from scratch or editing an existing customizable report). Custom reports are "columnar" reports which can be customized. Several "sample" layouts have been created for you to choose from, however you can also create any number of report layouts which display only the items you choose.

Reports can be viewed and printed. To print a report that you are viewing, click on the printer icon (circled in image below).
