You’re probably familiar with gross scores and net scores, but what is an adjusted gross score?
Your gross score is the number of strokes you took while playing a round of golf and any additional penalty strokes. Your net score is your gross score minus your handicap for that particular course.

Now for the adjusted gross score… According to the USGA website, an “adjusted gross score” is a player’s gross score adjusted under USGA Handicap System procedures for unfinished holes, conceded strokes, holes not played or not played under the Rules of Golf or Equitable Stroke Control.

So, not only does your adjusted gross score reflect your net score, it also includes other additional circumstances that might have affected your score!
